Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know
TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
His background matters. It says the founder has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. It is more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
The instrument list: FX, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that is a few months old, that range is solid.
The Software
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from one account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you know MetaTrader previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be coming. That would be a good addition when it arrives.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. $0 to start. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. This broker does not.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to the average person. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
This is the thing TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Pair that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package makes sense. Not many platforms in this bracket offer execution like this.
Regulation
This is the part you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Dodgy operations do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. But factor into your decision.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that is worth it is your call.
The Bonus
Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You put money in, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you deposit.
